Proven repairs for cracks, bowing walls, and settlement
Foundation problems affect the value, appearance, and safety of your home, and they never get better on their own. Our team finds the real cause of the movement — not just the crack you can see — and builds a repair plan around it.
Every product we install is manufactured by Supportworks, Inc. and designed and tested by structural and geotechnical engineers. Each system comes with a written warranty, and every job carries at least a 5-year guarantee on the quality of our work.
- Bowing, buckling, and leaning foundation walls
- Stair-step and horizontal wall cracks
- Cracked, uneven, or sinking floors
- Foundation settlement and sinking
- Sticking windows and doors
- Tilting or separating chimneys
Why Western Colorado foundations move
Expansive clay soils across the Grand Valley, Garfield County, and the Roaring Fork Valley swell when they take on spring moisture and shrink when they dry out in summer. That seasonal cycle lifts and drops the footing under your home.
Add freeze-thaw cycles at elevation, poor drainage on steep mountain lots, and older block foundations, and you get the cracking, settlement, and wall movement we repair every week from Grand Junction to Vail.

The systems we install
There is no single fix for a moving foundation, so we match the system to the failure. Every product is patented, engineer-tested, and installed by our own factory-trained crews rather than subcontractors.
- Push piers and helical piers for settlement
- Wall anchors and helical tiebacks for bowing walls
- Carbon fiber and steel bracing for cracked walls
- Crawl space jacks and support posts for sagging floors
- Polyurethane and epoxy injection for leaking cracks
- Drainage corrections that remove the cause of the movement
What a foundation inspection includes
Your free inspection is an on-site assessment by a trained foundation specialist, not a sales pitch. We measure and document the movement, look at the soils and drainage around the structure, and explain what is happening in plain language.
You leave with a written scope, a fixed price from a standard price sheet, and no obligation. Call 1-970-235-0092 to schedule.
PowerBrace®: permanently stabilize bowing foundation walls
For block and poured concrete walls that are bowing inward, we install the PowerBrace® system. Zinc-plated steel beams are custom-cut to your basement height and locked tight against the wall with brackets anchored to the floor slab below and the first-floor framing above.
The patented design can be tightened over time — during dry seasons when the soil pressure eases — so the wall not only stops moving but can be straightened back toward plumb. No excavation, no heavy equipment, and no damage to your lawn or landscaping.
Most installations are finished in a single day and can be done year-round. PowerBrace carries a 25-year product warranty from Supportworks® plus our own service warranty.
- Stabilizes both block and poured concrete walls
- Installed from inside — no digging or landscaping damage
- Zinc-plated steel resists corrosion
- Engineered top brackets distribute the load evenly
- Tightened seasonally to straighten the wall over time
- 25-year product warranty from Supportworks®

Fix the drainage, or the movement comes back
Most of the foundation failures we see on the Western Slope start with water. Downspouts dumping at the wall, negative grade, and monsoon runoff saturate the soil, then it dries and shrinks again — the shrink-swell cycle that cracks footings.
That is why nearly every repair we design includes a drainage correction: buried discharge lines, regrading, or a French drain around the affected side of the home.
